When We Were Young.
These are old scanned photos that mum took with her non digital camera. We have always liked climbing ladders. This one didn't seem to go anywhere though. When we got up there we just had to come back down again.
We like step ladders too. They are good for lying on when your dad wants to stand on them to cut the hedge.
And good for practising your acrobatics too.
And why bother with the steps when there is a straight side you can climb up?
When we had finished climbing, we would always have a rassle.
Or sometimes we would climb into the hedge and go up through the middle to sit on the top. This is a very good place for snoopervising as we are about nine feet up.
We are nearly two years old in these photos except the last one in which we were about 9-10 months old.
For the second one I started with Abstract 55%, then added Scribble at 40%.

Those were all fun and that mid-air rassle was something. Beautiful art!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are both brave adventuresome boys who certainly aren't put off by heights! Looks like fun though. And a good rassle is definitely a lot of fun. Mom's catwork is very nice. Looking forward to next week's flashback with accompanying art. Jean

Great flashback. I love seeing the boys as kittens. They sure liked to climb. Beautiful art. Thank you for the puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all the shots of the boys! THey are such cutie pies when they were young! And their antics are so much fun! I am so glad you share them with us Jackie! Can't wait to do the puzzles!
ReplyDeleteMore great photos and artwork! I love these.
ReplyDeleteWay back when petcretary was a teenager, we taught our doggy how to climb a ladder...not a great idea, cuase he being a smart dude, climbed up a ladder to get at a box her dad had put there for safekeeping...oospie. Blacky saw it, climbed up, got it down and ripped it up, and spread the contents all over, after shredding that too. LOL! Daddy was not pleased.
ReplyDeleteAnother time he climbed a ladder while on the leash coming back form his walk with petcretary, and he went after the man who had come to paint the siding. He got the hem of his pants...
The moral? Don't teach your dog tricks! Hahaha!
Those two sure had skills! And they look so cute on top of the hedge.
Aww, those dear amazing Angel boys and their ladder antics- what fun to read!
