This post comes from January 2009 and was originally a Mancat Monday.
Flynn: We haven't been out walking around the fields much lately because the weather has been too bad. Now we are out, we have to make sure everything is as it should be. I am looking up across the fields to check things out.
Everything looked all right there so now we will do our foot patrol and check the other fields. We are glad it didn't rain and we enjoyed going out again to do our Mancat duties. There is rain forecast for the rest of the week so we may look after the wood burner instead.
The random photo was requested by the Trout Towne Tabbies who asked for 8.01.09. The nearest I have is 7.01.09, so exactly 13 years ago. I didn't have any of the boys together on that date so they get two photos.
I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art and using these two photos.

ReplyDeleteGreat flashback pics. The artwork is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove this flashback and especially the pics the TTT picked.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this flashback! Right new we are having flashbacks to Grass (instead of loads of snow). I always love the shots of the boys in the fields and the cat trees and the pots and in the hay...Heck, I just love shots of the boys! And I can't wait to do the puzzle.
ReplyDeleteOh! I forgot! The picture of Flynn is exquisite!
DeleteDefinitely merit in doing the outdoor work whilst the sun shines, then concentrating on important indoor stuff in front of a warm fire. Such gorgeous pictures into jigsaws. I think Mrs H will be busy all week!

Oh those beautiful, beautiful boys......so very photographable...........
ReplyDeleteLove, Pam
They're both so gorgeous and the artworks are beautiful as always. We love the sadness filter, also when it's used only, but the name has to be changed in beautiful filter, because it doesn't look sad at all😸Off to the puzzle now. Extra Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteWonderful memories, as always. That first shot of Flynn surveying the landscape is stunning. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteThe art app really brings out the stripes! So good to see Eric and Flynn checking on their fields to make sure everything is as it should be. We miss them, but seeing their posts (and we're glad there are plenty) helps. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteThe boys were very conscientious about their patrolling. They knew their kingdomn and wanted to keep it safe.
ReplyDeleteGlad they both had fun and it didn't rain.
ReplyDeleteLove the art!
Looks like your Angel Boys had that field patrol thing down solid. We love their artwork. Both pieces are calming works of art.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful artwork of such beautiful mancats.
ReplyDeleteThank you Eric and Flynn for visiting after I ran off to the bridge. You two are old buddies of mine, we go back a long ways. We are together forever free of pain and can run free together.
ReplyDeleteThey always worked as a great team patrolling the fields. Thanks for sharing the beautiful artwork. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
