Flynn: We haven't been out walking around the fields much lately because the weather has been too bad. Now we are out, we have to make sure everything is as it should be. I am looking up across the fields to check things out.
Eric: While Flynn is checking the top field, I will look down across the bottom fields.
Everything looked all right there so now we will do our foot patrol and check the other fields.
We are glad it didn't rain and we enjoyed going out again to do our Mancat duties. There is rain forecast for the rest of the week so we may look after the wood burner instead.The random photo was requested by the Trout Towne Tabbies who asked for 8.01.09. The nearest I have is 7.01.09, so exactly 13 years ago. I didn't have any of the boys together on that date so they get two photos.
I am joining Athena, the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art and using these two photos.
For Flynn I used Illusion at 70%, then added Sadness at 25%.
For Eric I used Gorky at 50% then just a touch of Sadness at 15%.

It's always nice to be able to get outside again after being cooped up with bad weather.
I like the photos of the two of them walking together thru the field on patrol. They were quite impressive animals.

it fits perfectly to this week.. no rain, but cold and uncomfy somehow... but we will do a patrol today too... we have to watch our hood ;O)

Jackie each post of Eric and Flynn now and back then always amazes me how they were two cats but shared the same mind and soul. They were so connected and devoted.

I LOVE this flashback! Right new we are having flashbacks to Grass (instead of loads of snow). I always love the shots of the boys in the fields and the cat trees and the pots and in the hay...Heck, I just love shots of the boys! And I can't wait to do the puzzle.

Definitely merit in doing the outdoor work whilst the sun shines, then concentrating on important indoor stuff in front of a warm fire. Such gorgeous pictures into jigsaws. I think Mrs H will be busy all week!
