I try to have my flashbacks going from old to new and have been using the old original blog. I am trying to use slightly newer posts (2008) from this blog but it scrolls back to 2011 then flies back to the latest posts. I have given up and will just go back as far as I can. This one is from June 2012 and is called:
Walking with Dad.
The rain stopped for a while so the Beans asked if we wanted to go for a walk. Of course we did so we let dad lead the way.

Even a short walk is a good walk. Such funny boys.
ReplyDeleteThose sweeties sure did enjoy helping out their Dad!
ReplyDeleteLove that had a quick bath lol lovely memories and photos aww!
ReplyDeleteI liked the art too gives it quite a good effect.
Have a bathtastic weekend 👍
you can make a soup bbq when it rains ;O)
ReplyDeleteBoys, I always say "I love it!" and I always mean it. You were fortunate boys to have such a loving mom and dad! But I know you know that.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you how much I appreciated and liked the card and comment that you sent me on the passing of my son. Hearing from dear friends (I don’t have to be next door to consider you that. You are a dear friend) means so much to me. Your kindness made a difference.
Love and hugs to you.
You were brave to venture out in the wet conditions! "Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these courageous [couriers] mancats from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was always fun to see you two going for walks.
ReplyDeleteEasy to see you liked walking with your dad too :)
Thanks for the memory!
Purrs, Julie
Too bad the rain cut the walk short.
ReplyDeleteWell done E&F...I have found Dad's always need at least 1 friend to snoopervision but 2 are better
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
I enjoy seeing your flashbacks. Your boys were so precious and it shows how much you loved them and they loved you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Jackie. Big hug. ♥
Some days, you have to get out and about when you can... And any memory of the boys is enjoyable to see.
ReplyDeleteAny walk is better than none on a rainy day. As to the BBQ, looks like you should go ahead as you have the perfect spot to be warm dray and well fed. 🙂

Even a quick walk is a good walk! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteToo bad it rained but a short walk outside is better than no walk outside, and it was nice to clean your fur off when you got inside I bet.
ReplyDeleteAwww I love this!!!!! Did they ever end up getting their BBQ? xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe darn rain tried to ruin your fun!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy these flashbacks so much. And how thoughtful of Dad to consider the boys' opinion re: should we walk on in the rain or head for shelter? Yes, a barbeque sure sounds good, rain or no rain. Mom's catwork as always is very nice. Hope Mom and Dad are doing well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you two Angels are enjoying walks in the rain up in Heaven!
ReplyDeleteOff to puzzle; thank you.
That was a cute flashback. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteRain preventing a BBQ?? No way, just roll the grill into the barn or shed for shelter...our auntie puts hers in the open garage...
ReplyDeleteUs pups don't care much for rainy day walks.
Bob's fave time to BBQ is in the rain. I don't think I'd like to get rained on.
ReplyDeleteMom is mean she makes Grandpa smoke stuff rain or shine. At least the smoker is under his shed. You just have to walk in the rain to get to it. Actually so far this year the rain has cooperated and let him get through smoking stuff before it started falling from the sky. We had a very rainy summer for us.
ReplyDeleteLove them walking with their Dad. So cute.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Thanks for the puzzle. That was fun and I like the picture. I laughed out loud at the "quick bath". So typical of cats! :D
ReplyDeleteWe agree with Eric that it's never too rainy for a BBQ!
ReplyDeleteWalking with Dad sure looks like it was fun for the boys. Any time is BBQ time, we say. :)
ReplyDeleteWe think indoor barbecues are probably best when autumn comes (mol).
ReplyDeleteOhg Boy! A Walk in the rain! It has been a while since us guys have had that chance! We LOVe that you go walking with your Dad. Kozmo used to go with Mom and Cinnamon but he has not since last spring. Have a marvellously happy week and keep being awesome! Marv
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun walk
ReplyDeleteThe entire post is so heartwarming. It's a regular purrade! Great choice for your art. If it was for sale in a picture store, it would be a favourite, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, it is suitable for framing.
What? No bbq? Maybe inside...MOL...I always love to see your walkies, sweet angels💗Double Pawkisses from all of us🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteBetter a short walk than no walk at all ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThe boys enjoyed spending time with Dad didn't they!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Yeah, wet walks are not as fun as dry ones...
