The Box.

This is the box our Chris Mouse tree lives in. I thought that if I sat in it, mum wouldn't be able to take the tree down. It didn't work.

Our Christmas Tree and Cards.

Mum eventually got our tree up last week and I checked all the whappables that had been put on it.

Yup, I think that looks okay.

This is the lovely ornament donated to the auction by Laila and Minchie that we won.

Why did you hang it up so high mum? Surely you don't think we would touch it?

Thank you to every one that sent us cards which you can see here. All the ecards we have had sent to us are on our sidebar and also on our Christmas card page. Mum will take individual photos of these when they come down and make collages to put on our card page.

This one from Adan and Lego's Michico will be framed and put alongside the other cards she has painted from previous years.

Friday Flashback - Chris Mouse Tree.

We thought that as it is close to Christmas we would have one of our old Christmas posts for our Friday Flashback. This one comes from December 2009 and is called:

THE CHRIS MOUSE TREE.

Flynn: Last week mum said she would at last put our Chris Mouse tree up and we told her we would help. I checked she had taken everything out of thebox.

Then I had to check it smelled right and put my stink on it.

Eric: Then I got in the box to make sure Flynn hadn't missed anything.

Flynn: I checked the smell again after mum had put the first section up. It was okay so I told her she could carry on with the rest of it.

Eric: I went around the back of the tree to make sure there were enough decorations there.

Eric: I am not in this photo. That is Nott Me that you can see.

Eric: I don't know when that naughty Nott Me crept in but he whapped that decoration off and broke the top of it. That is not my paws you can see. Nope definitely not mine.

This is a decoration that mum bought in Hawai'i in October. For some reason she hung it right at the top of the tree.

Eric: This fevver is right at the top too. There used to be two like it but mum found one with all his fevvers taken off a few years ago and when she took the tree down she found his fevver suit still in the tree. She thinks Flynn did it cuz he was always climbing up the tree.
Flynn: Umm Eric, don't forget mum caught you up the tree as well.

And then I had to check it was being put together right.

Goodbye Christmas Tree

Mum always leaves the Chris Mouse tree and the decorations until Twelfth Night. I was sorry to see the tree come down, but I knew it was important to make sure my smell was properly on it before it was put away. We will miss all the cat toys on it. Goodbye Chris Mouse tree, see you next Christmas.

Our Christmas Tree.

We were beginning to think we wouldn't get our Chris Mouse tree this year because mum took so long to help us with it. At last on Friday she got the box out.

I gave it a good sniffing and put my smell back on it.

Then Eric went around the back of it to make sure there would be enough room to get under it.

We have two new ornaments this year.

They are Mr and Ms Gator who have come from Florida to join Hawaiian Santa on the tree.

We snoopervised that all the cat toys had been put on properly, but we weren't pleased that Mr Robin was put right at the top next to the bear where we may not be able to reach it.
