Friday Flashback and Caturday Art

In May 2007 the boys were tagged for 7 Random Facts so I thought I would repeat that post. I have left it in the original Catspeak.

We have been tagged by Obi furrom Forty Paws, China Cat and Chase.
Here are the rules. Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog!
We haf racked our brains to come up wiv seven facts each.

Eric:
1. When the Beans are in bed, I like to sleep on dad's head wiv my paw on mum's head.
2. My faverit game is rolled up silver paper. When it is thrown furr me, I pick it up and bring it back to be thrown again.
3. I love water. I will play with it furr hours.
4.If I'm hungry, I wake the Beans up by biting theer noses. They don't seem to like it furry much.
5. For a big mancat I only haf a furry small meow.
6. I haf a rather large floppy tummy, and when I run, mum sez I look like a cow with it's udder swinging.
7. I like rain. As soon as I hear it start, I go in our outdoors run to sit in it.

Flynn:
1. I like to go in our outdoors run at night and yowl at the moon. Mum calls me a Banshee.
2. I'm a furry good hunter. I'm not allowed to catch birds though. As well as catching mice, I haf caught snakes, moles and weasels.
3. I like to eat my food with my paws.
4. I love catnip. I drool and roll and my eyes go glazed.
5. As soon as I hear beeps coming furrom the compooter, I know that means mum has turned it on, and I come running and haf to sit on it to make sure mum duzn't make enny mistakes.
6. I like to sleep on my back wiv my legs in the air.
7. When the Beans go to bed, I like to git unner the kwilt and cuddle into mum's tummy.

There wasn't a photo in this post so I chose a random early photo.
This gave me an idea and if anyone wants to give a date starting from 2006 I will find the photo nearest that date and publish it each week.
This one is called waiting for Mr.Mousie (or possibly Mr.Rat) and was taken on 12th August 2006.

I used it for Caturday Art and only added Sadness at 45%. I was going to add at least one more filter but liked how simple it looked.

So now we have to think of seven things about ourselves.
1. Flynn: I have recently started a new career as a photographer.
2. Eric: I love to be zoom groomed. We have got two and when I am being zoom groomed on my body, I do my own face with the other one. I rub my face on it really hard.
3. Flynn: I like to sing. Mum calls it yowling but I don't know why. I go out in the garden when it is dark and sing at the top of my voice. I do it in daylight too.
4. Eric: I love water. When mum or dad are in the bath I like to join them. I don't actually get in the water but I lie on them with my tail and paws floating. When they see me coming they grab a towel quick for me to sit on because I like to make biscuits in the bath and it makes them say ouch.
5. Flynn: If I don't like the Stinky Goodness we are given, I eat it with my paw and flick it on the fridge.
6. Eric: I am very ticklish. Just being stroked makes me bite my feet.
7. Both of us: We get our teeth brushed every day because Eric gets rapid tartar build up.Dad does it and uses the old head from an electric toothbrush and Logic oral gel. We are very good to have it done.

The rules of this award are to give seven beauty secrets and then pass it on to seven bloggers. Well we are not really into beauty like that so we thought long and hard and came up with these seven beauty tips.

1: Get plenty of fresh air if you can. It is good for your lungs. If you have good lungs you can yell louder.

2: Get plenty of exercise. It is good for keeping you supple. If you don't go outdoors, Thundering herds of Elephants is a good exercise for indoor only cats.

3: Keep your furrs clean. It is always nice to have a spotless tummy.

4: Check your reflection for blemishes. You don't want to smile at your mum with bits of mouse stuck between your teeth.

5: Keep your nails nicely sharpened. You never know when you may want to use them.

6: Get plenty of beauty sleep. You don't want to get bags under your eyes do you?

7: If you get the opportunity, roll in the dirt. It makes your furrs lovely and soft.
