Friday Flashback and Caturday Art

I have two very short flashback posts this week, both from 2008.

Eric 23.03.08
I'm snoozing and the phone makes a good pillow.

I hope no-one calls me right now.

Flynn: 3.01.08
What do you want, can't you see I'm napping? And take the flashy box with you.

I'll close my eyes and ignore you, but be warned, you have made me flick my tail. NOW GO AWAY AND LET ME SLEEP!

The random photo this week is from 17.03.07 and chosen by the Trout Towne Tabbies. I didn't have one of the boys together so have one of each.

Eric  checking for "introoders."

Flynn in his favourite oak tree. Don't worry, he wasn't stuck and was halfway down from the top. He was a very good tree climber and could come down nearly as fast as he went up.

I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art, and have used the two random photos.

For Flynn I started with Metallic at 60%, then added Psychedelic at 30%.

For Eric I started with Reds at 55%,  then added Delaunay at 35%

Can you believe I've never climbed a tree? I'm not sure I'd know what to do!

It always amazed us at how high Flynn would get in that tree. Fun flashbacks!

MOL MOL at the head 'phone' photo. For sure that would cause a serious case of ringing in the ears.
OMCs that hangover up there on that limb must surely have set a Guinness world record

When kitties are napping they want to be left alone. We can't do that can we? No we can't.

Love the shot of you in that tree. That took some serious skills to get up there and even more skills getting back down.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. ☻

Napping can be so hard when the human comes around with a camera!

That is a scary tree photo! There is enough white tummy fur showing here to shave off and make a nice white hat!

Wow Flynn can climb. He is also really good at giving the tail shake of distain Hee Hee. We sure like to put our heads against things. Our Rumpy and Einie does that all the time. Thanks so much for sharing the boys with us. Purrs

Dear Ms Jackie, ALL the pictures this week are terrific! We love the posts too and we are impressed with Flynn's tree climbing skills. We don't think Kozmo can climb that well. But then we hardly see him in the trees since he slipped last year. We can't wait to do the puzzles.

MOL Mudpie fell asleep by the phone not long ago and I was hoping it wouldn't ring too! Can you imagine?

We just love the two napping photos of the boys. Who would of known a phone would make a good pillow. Thanks for sharing the sweet photos. Have a great upcoming weekend.

Misty loves to rest with her head pushed up against something. That phone would have been perfect for her nap too. We are glad that Flynn knew how to get down from that high place in the tree. Our neighbor's kitty is adept at going up but not so skilled at coming down. The ladder has been put up many times to get him down.

Those are all great photos, even the scary one with Flynn in the tree! As for Eric's photo, we would never think of using the phone as a pillow--we are scared of the noise it makes!

We furry much enjoy those flashbacks, and your art. Shimshi also likes to use the phone (and anything else - mol) for a pillow.

Wow, Flynn up in the tree! What a brave mancat! Of course, checking for intruders could be just as dangerous!
