A while back someone asked about the posts where the boys took their own photos wearing their camera. I did a search on dashboard and found some of the posts. I hope you enjoy revisiting photos from a cat's view. Next week I will try and find the posts of the first time they wore the camera.
The first one is from Eric and is from February 2011.
Eric: Mum asked me if I wanted to have another try at taking photos, so I said okay. I wasn't very happy the first time I wore a collar and the camera but I was much better this time. Most of my photos were extreme close ups of the grass I was nomming and came out black or very blurred but I got three that I was happy with. Flynn is sitting there patiently waiting for a mousie. After I came out of that field I sat by some of the stables while I waited for Flynn. Danni, the horse that snorts at us and chases us looked out to see what I was doing, so I took her photo. It is a bit dark. Flynn said it was because I was sat close to the fence and it cut out my natural light. He knows a lot about photography now and said he will give me some tips.
When we got indoors I took Flynn's photo. I seem to have cut his head off though. Maybe I need to practice a bit more.
Next is Flynn from August 2012
Flynn: I went out with the camera again and took a photo of Eric. He looked right at me which is more than he does for mum. Thanks Eric.
I got a little bit closer but not too near because he was being trotted up and I didn't want to get splat.
I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art. I am using a photo I took of Flynn wearing the camera. Here is the original.
I almost forgot the puzzle so it is at the bottom under the linkslist.

They were so creative and we always enjoyed seeing things from their point of view.
ReplyDeletethat are very e-LEG-ant photos ;O)
ReplyDeleteThat was a clever idea, camera on cats. Is it a gopro camera?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brian love seeing it all from their point of view and sometimes can be quite comical too
ReplyDeleteHave a memorytastic weekend 👍
Had forgotten all about these: so cute, and clever, and fun and funny! And your dialogue to "go with" is purrfect! More, more, more please.
ReplyDeleteLove them.
Gee! I like seeing pictures from a cat's perspective :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool!! Great memory.
Purrs, Julie
WooHoo I always enjoying seeing Eric and Flynn's world from their eye level.
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
I different view indeed and I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug, Jackie. ♥
Oh, I adore these photos!
ReplyDeleteIt's like being on the paw with the fellas.
Ahhh! THe secret life of Eric and Flynn! I remember these! I was totally entranced with the photos the boys took. Angel Nellie Bellie got one of thoise cameras. On her first trip outside with it the camera was blurry, she managed to lose it on the second trip. Thanks for sharing. Keep being awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are great! I wish you were able to get a bit closer to the vet examining the lame horse, Flynn, but I do understand you didn't want to get splat on. And Eric, I don't think you moved and chopped off your own ears (sorry, Flynn!) Mom's catwork is pretty. Hope Mom and Dad are doing well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteThose were very interesting cat cam photos.
ReplyDeleteI remember those photos vividly!! It was so cool that they did that! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWe always loved the cat-cam pictures. TBT wanted to try that with us, but since we pull offer even regular collars, he figured we would just lose the camera too.
ReplyDeleteIt makes sense that most of their pictures were ground level. When we are outside, we dont lean back and look up much either. Unless TBT is there and we want ta talk to him.
But if he is out there with us, HE can take the pictures. MOL!
What fun to see from a cat's point of view!
ReplyDeleteHow cool to see things from a cat's eye view!
ReplyDeleteI remember the collar-camera. What fun it must have been taking those pictures. And Eric didn't mind being the subject - unlike when his mum tried to take his photograph...
ReplyDeleteWe remember when kitty collar cameras were all the rage! Someone sent us one but we never actually used it. It was fun to see these pics!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
These photos are so fun. We put a camera on Mauricio years ago. Mom has no idea where those photos are now. The very last photo Eric took turned out better than some of our mom’s photos. She always looks forward to your puzzles. Have a great weekend. ReplyDeleteWe remember the posts when the Boys took photos! It was so fun seeing things fromr their POV. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are the best photos. Especially of legs. Enjoyed those the most! Thank you for re-sharing for those of us who are new.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos and the explanations. I started working on the puzzle and will finish it later. I have an account with Jigsaw Planet, so I can save my progress on it. :-)
ReplyDeleteThose photos are so fun to see. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat flashback. That is a fun camera. They got some pretty good photos. :) Beautiful art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteFlynn was a great photographer. Those leg shots remind TW of all the pics her dad used to take where he's cut everyone's heads off. He was famous for that.
ReplyDeleteNaturally the boys' point of view is what counts (mol)!
ReplyDeleteLovely art too.
Flynn just had to get used to the camera. He took a couple of really good pictures of Eric! One must also take into account his vantage point which isn't very far off the floor. I say Bravo, Flynn!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, the Caturday Art is stunning in style and colour. Bravo to you, too.
We really loved the photo's, you both are some great photographers, sweet Angels and that's some real COOL art😸Double Pawkissies from us to you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteYou sure were a talented photographer Flynn!
ReplyDeleteOh, that was fun!! Some of those pictures are really good considering!
ReplyDeleteThat may have been me. I did request them. I LOVED when they went out with their cameras. Well, Flynn. XXX. What a treat to see the this mornong. The boys were a joy every single day and always busy!
ReplyDeleteAww, I love these! So fun seeing from the cat's POV.
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn are on Dani's blog today. Some old LOLs. Here's the link: https://lacocoondani.blogspot.com/

So lovely see all the photos taken from their point of view! The world was their oyster or farm or... :-). Miss them so.
ReplyDeleteThis makes we humans see what THEY see....it's a whole different world close to the ground but Eric and Flynn were EXCELLENT photographers no matter where they took the photos!
